Basement Organization

Why is organization so difficult in a basement? Unlike in office organization or closet organization, a basement has lots of different categories of items that need to be organized. Home improvement, toys, furniture, and all kinds of other items are stored in basements. Caveat – do not store paper or clothing in the basement due to potential water damage. An important component of basement organization is using the right storage. We tend to just pile items up on the floor and waste a lot of valuable space. Inexpensive racking from a home improvement store makes a huge impact in the amount you are able to store. A clean and organized home includes an organized basement.
