The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day which will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In the previous Take-Back events, DEA, in conjunction with state and local law enforcement partners, has collected more than 2 million pounds (1,018 tons) of prescription medications which were removed from circulation.
Secure and responsible disposal of unused drugs is important in keeping our homes safe and organized. You can find more information on collection centers in your area on the DEA website.
